Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to relax and settle in before an evening briefing on your tour.
Day 2: Kigali City Tour
Explore the vibrant city of Kigali, visiting the Genocide Memorial Centre, the colorful markets of Kimironko and Nyamirambo, and visit some craft shops.
Day 3: The millennium Village Tour
Visit Rwanda's Millennium village in the South East of Rwanda Bugesera District to learn about the history of the Genocide against the tutsi, the journey of economic growth plus Unity and reconciliation.
Day 4 Umusambi Village & Akagera sunset boat
It's a day to start connecting Rwanda's nature and wild life conservation, you will start by visiting Umusambi village to learn about the conservation project of crested cranes plus other bird species and later continue the drive to Akagera National Park where you will enjoy the Sunset Boat ride.
Day 5 Akagera National Park
Start your game drive early in the morning to have a chance to encounter the big five and many other amazing wild life species from South to north of the Park and later drive back to Kigali.
Day 6: Nyanza & Huye
Drive to the South of Rwanda and Visit the King's Palace Museum in Nyanza to learn about Rwanda's history and heritage then proceed to Huye another historical town to visit the Ethnographic museum of Rwanda.
Day 7: University of Rwanda Huye Campus
Spend a day at the former National University of Rwanda the biggest andb oldest university in Rwanda and get a chance to interract with students and administrators to learn about the education system in Rwanda plus the University's history.
Day 8: Nyungwe Forest National Park - Canopy Walk
Travel to Nyungwe Forest National Park, home to a variety of primates, including chimpanzees and colobus monkeys. Taker a visit to the Canopy Walkway, a suspended bridge that offers breathtaking views of the forest canopy. And later spend a night in Rusizi
Day 9: Rusizi - Karongi - Rubavu
Drive along the beautiful shores of Lake Kivu one of Africa's great lakes, make a stop in Karongi town to have lunch in one of the lakeside hotels before continuing to Rubavu town.
Day 10: Rubavu beach - Musanze
It's a day to enjoy the lake you can choose to either relax along the shores at the beach or take some interesting lake activities like a boat ride, then transfer to Musanze after lunch.
Day 11: Mount Bisoke Hike
Leave your hotel early to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters to meet your guide and go for the hike on Bisoke Volcano which has a crater lake on top. Transfer back to Kigali after Lunch in Musanze Town
Day 12: Departure
Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to Rwanda. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
